Buzzmove, a UK proptech and insurance startup, has raised a fresh £6m ($7.7m) in a sizable seed funding round led by White Mountains Insurance Group.
The London-based company offers price comparison and bookings for the moving industry, as well as allowing users to create digital inventories of items and purchase insurance.
Buzzmove also provides professional surveying software for business moves.
The company previously secured $650,000 in a seed round following a tenure at Telefonica’s incubator Wayra. It also took part in Startupbootcamp’s insurtech accelerator.
The company says that it will use the capital to fuel development of its platform as it attempts to enable more personalised home and household content-based insurance policies.
