InsurTech platform Sherpa secures ?2.3m in a financing round from a series of angel investors.
This capital will be used to expand the team and further boost the platform, which is set to launch in the UK later this year.
Sherpa?allows users to get access to a personalised insurance account and guidance of products. Through the offering a user uploads data to create a personalised risk assessment and then add existing insurance policies to system, this is then processed by Sherpa to optimise the users insurance products.
Sherpa CEO and co-founder Chris Kaye said, ?We have completely re-thought the way insurance has worked for 100 of years. Doing away with the concept of the insurance product and inventing a new, holistic way of underwriting risk.p>
