Insured Nomads teams up with Peanut for easier travel

US-based travel and global health insurance provider Insured Nomads has partnered with Peanut, a Google Chrome extension that helps travellers see important information about their destination, a report from Coverager has revealed.

Peanut is a free Google Chrome extension that strives to help travellers plan more confidently on common travel booking websites such as Google Flights, Booking.com and Expedia.

The company was founded by travel enthusiasts to help people make better travel choices and be prepared for the unexpected, such as ever-changing Covid-19 rules. Peanut summarises key travel insights, including Covid-19 related travel restrictions, visa information and whether you need travel insurance to enter a certain destination.

Insured Nomads provides international health insurance with medical benefits in tandem with safety, security, cybersecurity and tech-enabled solutions.

The partnership will provide embedded insurance through Peanut’s extension. Peanut said that its low friction, quick overviews will make acquiring the right travel insurance “more elegant and lightweight.”

Brady Simpson, co-founder of Peanut Travel Company, said, “Insured Nomads is laser focused on user-friendly insurance and flexibility for the modern traveller — and we knew it would be a powerful addition for travellers using Peanut to get covered as part of their travel plans.”
