Massachusetts-based cyber insurance firm Corvus has purchased cyber underwriting platform Tarian Underwriting for an undisclosed fee.
Corvus purchased Tarian from Beat Capital Partners, a London-based venture capital firm.
According to Security Week, Tarian will become Corvus Underwriting Limited following the acquisition. Corvus claimed it is the first InsurTech company to acquire a London underwriting platform.
Through the deal, Tarian’s global footprint will help Corvus widen its international footprint, while Corvus will gain access to the cyber insurance capacity of Lloyd’s.
This is the second acquisition of Corvus’ in the last year, after the company acquired Wingman Insurance in August 2021.
Corvus also previously netted $100m in Series C in March last year, before it extended the Series C round by $15m in May.
