Duck Creek and Experian join forces for UK insurance market

Duck Creek Technologies has entered into a partnership with global information services company Experian to serve the UK insurance market.

According to the companies, the partnership will help general insurance providers in the UK. market enhance the quality of their underwriting and claims handling, delivering more detailed risk profiles through enhanced consumer data.

The partnership will also deliver an on-demand Software as a Service (SaaS) solution using Experian’s iCache platform – which integrates critical and accurate risk information during the underwriting process for motor, buildings, and contents insurance.

Duck Creek Technologies is a leading provider of core system solutions to the P&C and General insurance industry. Experian is a global information services company which strives to help individuals take financial control and access financial services, businesses to make smarter decisions and thrive, lenders to lend more responsibly, and organisations to prevent identity fraud and crime.

By using Duck Creek’s Platform, Experian will have a single point of configuration and, therefore, a holistic view of customer data.

Douglas Rudd, Duck Creek Technologies partner, said the partnership will initially be specific to the UK market. He added, “Combining the breadth of critical consumer Experian data with the technical market know-how and expertise provided by Duck Creek are key to helping insurers accelerate their speed to market and operational resilience.”
