PasarPolis, an Indonesian InsurTech startup, has launched a direct-to-consumer vertical TAP Insure to make insurance more accessible.
Founded in 2015, PasarPolis has positioned itself as Southeast Asia’s leading insurance technology (InsurTech) company headquartered in Indonesia.
The company aims to democratise insurance by empowering all consumers to easily access affordable insurance products and uses innovative technology to provide smooth user experience from purchase to claims.
PasarPolis targets end-customers and allows consumers to access embedded insurance products directly from the TAP Insure app which can be downloaded through both AppStore and Playstore.
TAP Insure was created in partnership with PT Zurich Asuransi Indonesia, Tbk. (Zurich) as the insurance provider for the two products launched.
The solution currently offers two products, travel insurance and personal accident insurance.
PasarPolis said TAP Insure will be launching more products in the coming months that would include other insurance solutions involving home content, health, personal device, auto, and other insurance needs.
Coupled with PasarPolis’ aggressive expansion across Southeast Asia and their growing partnerships with over 50 insurance providers and digital giants, PasarPolis’ roll out of their new B2C vertical comes as a strong supporting initiative to their commitment to delivering accessible and affordable insurance across the entire region.
Cleosent Randing, PasarPolis founder & CEO, said, “We’re thrilled to announce our new one-stop-shop insurance app, TAP Insure. PasarPolis is looking forward to reaching even more people through this new channel, making insurance protection all the more accessible across Asia.
“PasarPolis is pulling all the stops to make sure we deliver on our promise of widening insurance access and continually building needs-based and affordable insurance solutions.”
Evy, a France-based InsurTech claiming to offer the “best product protection experience”, recently raised €6.6m in funding.
Launched in 2022 by Simon Kemoun, Shana Azria and Tanguy Le Stradic in Paris, Evy describes itself as an eco-responsible insurance broker, poised to disrupt the world of product protection for retailers operating in Europe.
