Volante Global, an international MGA & Lloyd’s Syndicate specialising in multi-class, multi-territory underwriting, has recently announced the debut of Volante Singapore.
This strategic platform combines exceptional underwriting, powered by data-centric business processes.
With a view to cater to the Asian Pacific, Greater China, Southeast Asia, South Korea, and Japan markets, Volante Global has launched Volante Singapore. This is part of the company’s ongoing strategy to leverage its own A-rated Lloyd’s Syndicate 1699, managed by Asta Managing Agency, to offer extensive (re)insurance solutions.
As a multi-class, multi-territory international MGA & Lloyd’s Syndicate, Volante Global’s primary function is to combine world-class underwriting, powered by data-driven business processes. They deploy these through a strategic platform to offer insurance solutions across a variety of territories.
Volante Singapore, the newly launched arm, is designed to offer (re)insurance solutions across Asia Pacific. These solutions encompass Property, Engineering, Motor, Accident and Casualty, Marine, Multiline Bouquet across Treaty, Facultative, binder and facility business. Additionally, Volante Singapore plans to extend transaction liability solutions through Volante Transaction Services, including warranty and indemnity and tax liability insurance.
Amy Fu, an experienced insurance professional with a career spanning various international locations, will be leading Volante Singapore. The platform will serve as a key aspect of the Volante Emerging Markets division, which has been operational since 2019, focusing solely on high-growth and emerging markets.
Volante Singapore, besides its main reinsurance offering, will also host the regional offering of Volante Transaction Services. This will cater to the mergers & acquisitions market in the region with locally underwritten solutions. Additionally, it has received regulatory approval as of 1 January 2023 and is now actively trading.
