Leading cyber underwriter Corvus Insurance has revealed that it is expanding its existing relationship with Travelers, in a bid to bolster its existing suite of products.

The Boston-based insurer announced the move that it hopes will empower businesses to navigate the digital landscape with confidence, with its tailored coverage, service and proactive risk management.

The deal is an extension of a similar deal between the two firms, which announced a similar deal in 2022, where Travelers backed the Corvus Smart Cyber Insurance across the continental European market.

Corvus CEO Madhu Tadikonda, said: “Travelers has an unmatched reputation, extensive knowledge of the cyber insurance market and an intimate understanding of the complexities surrounding the evolving cyber landscape.

“Combining our expertise and shared approach to data-driven underwriting and risk mitigation will enable us to offer customers an even stronger suite of products and services.”

Beginning Oct. 1, 2023, Travelers will serve as a capacity provider for Corvus products in the United States.

The partnership’s new cyber insurance programme is set to build on Corvus’ existing suite of solutions which has seen the Massachusetts-based organisation win the MGA of the year for 2023, from Insurance Insider.
