Guidewire and SMA Technologies (SMA) have announced a newly launched accelerator designed to streamline insurers’ operations by introducing powerful workload automation solutions.
SMA’s newly launched OpCon accelerator, validated and compatible with Guidewire Cloud, is now live on the Guidewire Marketplace. The accelerator will save users time and cut manual labour costs.
Integrated with Guidewire Cloud, the OpCon accelerator offers insurers a single point of control to monitor and enhance the execution of multiple batch processes and work queues within InsuranceSuite. This integration promises to unlock additional value from modernisation initiatives.
As part of the move, carriers will be equipped with the following advantages:
- Improved accuracy and cost savings.
- Reduced IT complexity and risk.
- Optimized operational efficiency throughout the enterprise.
This accelerator can be applied to core systems within InsuranceSuite Cloud, including ClaimCenter, BillingCenter, and PolicyCenter. It empowers users to synchronise data, enhance the efficiency of BillingCenter teams, and automate various processes. Additionally, it simplifies end-of-day, week, and month processing, reporting, auditing, and third-party payments.
Todd Dauchy, CEO of SMA Technologies, said, “OpCon customers who harness the full power of automation can save $30,000 or more a month by automating manual tasks and orchestrating workflows across systems and applications. We are excited to partner with Guidewire to put the power of automation in their customers’ hands to drive operational efficiency and accelerate the business contribution of IT.”
Will Murphy, Vice President, Global Technology Alliances, Guidewire, said, “Congratulations to SMA Technologies on the release of its new Guidewire Cloud accelerator. Insurers must continually reckon with ever-changing economic conditions and high customer expectations, making innovative technology and strategic process changes critical for success. SMA’s OpCon accelerator enables process automation, freeing up internal bandwidth to further address these objectives.”
