Novidea has announced a new senior vice president of product in a bid to drive the strategic direction of its market-leading insurance management platform.

As part of the appointment, Ido Peled has joined the market-leading InsurTech and will be tasked with leading the firm’s strategic and developmental direction.

Before assuming his role at Novidea, Peled served as the chief product and marketing officer at Taranis, a renowned agricultural technology (AgTech) firm known for pioneering the industry’s foremost crop intelligence platform.

Preceding this tenure, he dedicated 14 years to roles at Ex Libris, a notable education software provider that now operates under Clarivate. During his spell there, he held diverse positions, including director of solutions architecture and vice president of solutions and marketing. Peled graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Tel Aviv University.

Erez Nissim, CTO of Novidea, said, “Ido has the ideal technical skillset and business experience to lead our product team and increase our competitive edge globally. With Ido leading our product management team, we have the right leadership in place to continue providing innovation, quality and value to our customers worldwide.”

This recent move is the latest in a host of personnel changes for the London-based InsurTech. Last week, Novidea announced that it had bolstered its sales team to meet the increasing demand for its renowned insurance management platform in the UK.

Two seasoned sales managers in the form of James Doe and Mike Scott were appointed to spearhead their growth strategy across the UK and London Market, following the success of the innovative solution.

Bringing extensive expertise in general insurance, specialty insurance, and digital transformation, Scott, formerly a Business Development Manager at Charles Taylor InsureTech, and Doe, previously a Sales Manager focusing on Specialty Business Solutions at Verisk, have been tasked with spearheading Novidea’s expansion among brokers and MGAs domestically.
