AXA has announced its support for UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 as an Official Partner, aligning with its sponsorship programme initiated in 2020.

The insurance provider will contribute to the prestigious event scheduled to take place in Switzerland from July 2 to 27, 2025.

This partnership underscores AXA’s commitment to women’s football, marking an expansion of its existing involvement in the sport.

The collaboration signifies AXA’s dedication to promoting women’s football, exemplified by its support for Swiss women’s football since 2020 as the main sponsor of the AXA Women’s Super League and the AXA Women’s Cup.

By investing in women’s football, AXA aims to bolster women’s sports in general, echoing its brand ethos of “Know You Can” that encourages self-belief among its customers.

Fabrizio Petrillo, CEO AXA Switzerland, expressed his excitement about supporting UEFA Women’s EURO 2025, stating, “I’m so excited to support UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 together with other European AXA companies as a main sponsor. We are sending a strong signal and making a contribution to ensure that the players and fans can experience a great event and further strengthen women’s football. I’m looking forward to a fantastic summer of football in 2025!”

The partnership extends beyond sponsorship, as AXA employees will have volunteering opportunities during the tournament. As the partner of the UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 Volunteer Programme, AXA employees will play a crucial role in contributing to the success of the event.

As part of the sponsorship, AXA employees will have the opportunity to gain insight into the event’s inner workings and play a role in its success. AXA is partnering with the UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 Volunteer Programme, allowing its employees to actively contribute to the tournament’s operations.

The UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 championship will feature 16 teams competing in eight Swiss cities. The tournament is expected to attract around 500 million viewers worldwide, with over 700,000 tickets available for fans to watch live in stadiums.

The partnership between AXA and UEFA will continue until the end of August 2025, with the sponsorship amount remaining confidential.
