INSUREtrust, a cyber insurance and risk management specialty broker within CRC Group, has announced the appointment of Sonja Kozel as senior vice president.
Kozel, bringing over a decade of insurance experience, will be joining the company as senior vice president, according to Insurance Business Mag.
At INSUREtrust, Kozel’s responsibilities will include broadening the company’s footprint through internal collaboration and strengthening retail brokerage partnerships. A University of Nebraska graduate, she is currently based in St Louis, Missouri, and will report directly to INSUREtrust CEO Christiaan Durdaller.
Her impressive background includes serving as SVP of US sales & distribution with a prominent cyber insurer.
In her previous role, she managed the carrier’s largest broker relationships and played a pivotal role in expanding key strategic partnerships. Her extensive experience also includes working with specialty pool and affinity programs, shaping strategies for national association and aggregator relationships, and holding roles in distribution and underwriting with major insurance groups.
The company focuses on enhancing cyber security for its clients through comprehensive insurance products and risk management services.
