Luz Saúde, one of Portugal’s largest private healthcare providers, has teamed up with Habit, a prominent InsurTech startup with expertise in digital insurance and telecommunications, to launch a new health service called LUZ ON PRIME.
The partnership aims to revolutionise healthcare access for Hospital da Luz customers by offering a subscription-based service that provides around-the-clock clinical support and personalised care, according to InsurTech Insights.
This collaboration underscores both companies’ commitment to innovation in the healthcare sector.
Luz Saúde operates a network of hospitals and clinics across Portugal, known for its comprehensive range of medical services and cutting-edge healthcare solutions. Habit, on the other hand, is a Portuguese startup making significant strides in the international InsurTech sector. The company specialises in creating digital insurance products and telecommunications solutions that enhance customer experience through innovative technology.
The newly introduced LUZ ON PRIME service offers subscribers a variety of benefits designed to improve their healthcare experience.
The subscription includes access to a LUZ 360º Customer Manager, assignment of a Family Doctor with options for in-person or video consultations, basic clinical tests like electrocardiograms, and home healthcare services.
Additionally, subscribers receive priority access to urgent care, including video consultations and transportation to Urgent Care centres via the LUZ 24 clinical support line.
LUZ ON PRIME is marketed as a modern, digital health service aimed at helping customers proactively manage their health.
Customers can subscribe to the service via the MY LUZ app, at hospital and clinic receptions, or through the call centre.
The service is also available to business clients, providing companies with the opportunity to offer their employees personalised health monitoring and exclusive access to healthcare services.
Habit’s collaboration with Luz Saúde in developing LUZ ON PRIME is a continuation of their successful partnership, which previously led to the creation of the Health Evaluator tool. This ongoing relationship highlights the importance both companies place on integrating digital technology into healthcare to enhance customer experiences.
