Zurich Canada has announced the launch of its new Apprenticeship Program designed to nurture future leaders in the industry through innovative educational initiatives.
The Apprenticeship Program was created in response to the growing need for skilled professionals in the insurance industry.
Zurich Canada has identified the importance of equipping future professionals with both academic knowledge and hands-on experience to thrive in the evolving insurance landscape.
The firm is a globally recognised insurance company providing a range of products, including property and casualty, life insurance, and corporate risk solutions. The company is known for its commitment to sustainability, innovation, and customer-centric services.
The newly launched Apprenticeship Program offers a unique opportunity for successful applicants to enrol in the Business – Insurance diploma program at Seneca Polytechnic.
This two-year initiative integrates academic learning with practical work experience at Zurich Canada, allowing participants to develop critical industry skills while earning their diploma.
Participants will not only receive a fully-funded package covering tuition, fees, and books, but they will also benefit from a hybrid schedule, enabling them to balance part-time work with their studies at Seneca.
In addition, Zurich Canada offers access to Seneca’s student support services, such as career planning, financial aid, and learning resources, enhancing the participant experience.
Graduates of the program will have the chance to earn eight credits towards the Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation, a globally recognized qualification in the insurance sector. Successful participants are also guaranteed a full-time position at Zurich Canada upon completion of the program, setting them up for long-term success in the insurance industry.

We look forward to seeing our first cohort start this September and to their future contributions to our industry.”
