Chubb, a global leader in insurance services, has announced the appointment of John Latter as head of claims for Chubb Overseas General (COG), effective immediately.
Operating in 54 countries and territories, Chubb provides a range of insurance solutions, including commercial and personal property and casualty insurance, personal accident and supplemental health insurance, reinsurance, and life insurance.
The company is known for its comprehensive product offerings, broad distribution network, financial strength, and global operations.
Latter, with four decades of experience in the insurance industry, will now oversee Chubb’s claims organisation across Europe, the Middle East, Asia Pacific, Latin America, and the Far East. Based in London, he will lead a team of 3,000 claims professionals.
Before this appointment, he served as senior vice president, claims director for Europe, Eurasia & Africa, where he directed strategic claims across property, casualty, financial lines, marine, aviation, and energy.
Latter joined Chubb in 2017, bringing significant expertise from Zurich Insurance, where he held senior claims roles with UK and international responsibilities.
