Holland & Barrett, the UK’s leading health and wellness retailer, has partnered with dacadoo, a Swiss-based digital health company, to enhance the customer experience through its wellness app, H&B&Me.

The collaboration brings together Holland & Barrett’s consumer reach with dacadoo’s digital expertise to promote healthier lifestyles.

The partnership aims to offer a personalised and holistic digital health journey for users. By combining behavioural science with engaging mobile tools, the H&B&Me app is designed to support sustainable lifestyle changes while also driving customer loyalty and increasing brand value for Holland & Barrett.

dacadoo brings its Digital Health Engagement Platform to the partnership, powering H&B&Me with a suite of personalised features.

These include a lifestyle-based biological age assessment, digital nudges based on behavioural science, and expert-led content covering sleep, nutrition, mental wellbeing, and physical fitness. The platform also provides personalised coaching and habit tracking, making wellness both intuitive and interactive.

Holland & Barrett has long been recognised as a go-to destination for health-conscious consumers. With the launch of H&B&Me, the company is evolving its role from a traditional retailer to a long-term wellness partner.

By gamifying health goals and integrating personalised challenges and rewards, Holland & Barrett aims to build deeper customer relationships and promote repeat engagement across digital and physical channels.

The app has already demonstrated strong potential. In a nine-week trial, 87% of users reported noticeable improvements in mood, energy, sleep, and diet. This early data signals how technology can significantly enhance population health outcomes while also contributing to business performance.

H&B&Me was recently recognised at the 2025 Retail Week Awards for its innovative use of behavioural science and digital engagement. The app has also received coverage in industry media including Retail Rewired, Health Tech World, and Diginomica for its ability to support customer retention and improve lifetime value.

dacadoo CEO Peter Ohnemus said, “H&B&Me shows what is possible when science and innovation converge to support healthier lives. This collaboration highlights how scalable, personalised wellness can deliver measurable value for both consumers and businesses.”
