dacadoo has launched Generation 5 of its digital health engagement platform, with new features designed to give users clearer insight into their wellbeing and clients more flexibility in how the platform is delivered.

Dubbed Generation 5, the update puts user empowerment and accessibility at the core, enhancing the Health Score with clearer insights, a Biological Age metric, and personalised improvement guidance through Health Score Potential.

These changes are based on feedback from users and clients who wanted a better understanding of how their lifestyle choices impact their health score, and what steps they can take to improve it.

The Health Score remains at the centre of the dacadoo platform, and now comes with weekly comparisons, category labels like ‘Very Good’, and visual trend indicators.

Users can track how their score changes over time and see how habits like sleep, exercise, or nutrition affect their overall health.

The new Biological Age feature offers extra context by estimating the user’s health-related age, while Health Score Potential highlights weaker areas and recommends goals with the highest chance of impact.

These tools are designed to help users take the right next steps, based on personalised insights.

Accessibility is now a core product requirement for dacadoo, driven by compliance with EU Directive 2019/882 and the Americans with Disabilities Act.

The company has audited its platform and aligned development with WCAG standards to ensure a smooth experience for all users.

dacadoo is also making health engagement more intuitive through a new feature called Highlights. These visually-driven updates show the most relevant information, like recent achievements, habit tips, or sleep summaries, in a format inspired by social media stories.

Clients can customise these Highlights with branded templates, allowing them to deliver content that feels timely and personalised.

The platform’s content has also been reorganised into a new Discover Page. From health goals to challenges, articles and events, everything is now available in one central location, making it easier for users to explore and take action.

With Generation 5, dacadoo is giving clients more control over how the platform looks and functions. Layouts, visuals, and content modules can now be tailored to specific audiences or brands. Clients can choose what to display, how it’s arranged, and even create in-app promotions.

These changes allow for faster delivery and easier updates, while keeping the overall experience consistent and user-friendly.
