Ominimo and Fixico partner to digitise car repairs

Ominimo, an AI-powered car insurer, and Fixico, a leading European digital car repair management platform, have entered a strategic partnership to oversee all of Ominimo’s vehicle repairs in the Netherlands.

Ominimo, an AI-powered car insurer, and Fixico, a leading European digital car repair management platform, have entered a strategic partnership to oversee all of Ominimo’s vehicle repairs in the Netherlands.

The collaboration is designed to support Ominimo’s rapid growth following its impressive launch in Hungary, where it captured 7% of the local market and sold over 300,000 policies in its first year.

With backing from Zurich Insurance and a valuation of €200m, Ominimo is now scaling operations across Europe. Partnering exclusively with Fixico will allow the company to manage 100% of its body and glass repair claims via a fully digital process.

Fixico’s platform will be integrated into Ominimo’s claims system to provide a fully digital repair experience. The system will offer real-time visibility into repair statuses, customer satisfaction metrics, and key performance indicators. To support this offering, glass repair services will be handled by Autoglaz, which has been onboarded as the dedicated partner for these services.

Ominimo, which leverages artificial intelligence to optimise car insurance pricing and claims management, launched in Hungary with a lower-than-average claims ratio. The company’s growth trajectory has drawn significant attention, supported by strong underwriting and technology infrastructure.

Fixico, meanwhile, specialises in digitalising and managing car repairs across Europe. Its platform connects insurers, fleet owners, and drivers with a curated network of repair shops, ensuring speed, cost-efficiency, and quality control throughout the repair process.

The partnership sets clear performance benchmarks: repair lead times under 8 calendar days in at least 80% of cases, repair quotes delivered within 24 hours, and customer satisfaction scores of 4.5 or above on a 5-point scale.
