Plutus, a newly launched company founded by former ServiceNow executives, has entered the market with a focus on developing AI-native solutions for the insurance industry.
The firm, founded by Kara (Donato) Anderson, Abhishek Bajpai and Chirag Jindal, is targeting digital transformation in the sector through the ServiceNow ecosystem, according to FF News.
The company has already secured pre-seed funding from venture capital firm Moneta Ventures, signalling strong investor backing.
The launch of Plutus was driven by clear market demand. CEO Chirag Jindal noted his global experience engaging with insurance leaders during his tenure at ServiceNow revealed a pressing need for tailored, packaged solutions and the skilled talent to implement them. Plutus intends to fill this gap with a streamlined approach to AI adoption, designed to avoid overwhelming clients with complex technologies.
Plutus is a technology partner building insurance-specific solutions on the ServiceNow platform. With headquarters in Chicago and satellite offices in London and Bengaluru, the company aims to support digital transformation across the insurance sector. Its mission is to help carriers, brokers, third-party administrators (TPAs) and others realise meaningful outcomes through scalable ServiceNow deployments.
The company’s flagship offering focuses on Agentic AI – intelligent, AI-native digital agents that support claims and servicing workflows. Plutus will also deliver pre-configured tools for the property & casualty (P&C) and life & annuities (L&A) segments, as well as insurance brokers. These modular solutions are aimed at accelerating time-to-value and simplifying the path to AI integration.
Plutus aspires to become the global partner of choice for insurers modernising on ServiceNow. It plans to offer a blend of technical innovation, packaged applications, and expert implementation services that help clients navigate transformation without disruption.
According to Moneta Ventures founder and managing partner Lokesh Sikaria, the ServiceNow platform has untapped potential. “The ServiceNow platform is rapidly expanding, and we believe the ServiceNow portfolio still has great untapped potential that is ripe for disruption. This founding team has the right ingredients to win in the ServiceNow ecosystem with a laser focus on industry-specific innovation,” he said.
“Hearing first-hand how customers are overwhelmed with ‘AI noise’, we developed a methodology for incremental consumption of AI that utilizes our large-scale transformation backgrounds, relentless focus on change management and adoption, and experienced technical talent,” Jindal added.
