US InsurTech Orion180 has entered into a strategic partnership with AI geospatial analytics firm Neural Earth Inc. to integrate advanced risk intelligence into its underwriting process, with an initial focus on wildfire-prone regions.
The companies will combine Neural Earth’s Risk Intelligence Platform and Neural Earth Studio with Orion180’s operations to improve the precision and speed of risk evaluation, according to InsurTech Insights.
The move comes as climate-driven disasters challenge traditional risk models, pushing insurers to adopt more sophisticated tools.

The partnership will initially target wildfire analytics, drawing on historical data, vulnerability assessments, and predictive AI. The companies also plan to explore wider applications of AI risk intelligence in the homeowners insurance market.
