Total combined downloads reached 32.9m as of H1 2025.
Between January 2022 and H1 2025 alone, there were 17.3m downloads, more than doubling the total combined downloads before 2022.

The UK’s shift toward digital insurance management has mirrored broader FinTech adoption trends, with record growth driven by the demand for mobile-first policy management, rapid claims processing, and price-comparison features.
This surge follows a steady climb from just 543,932 downloads in 2017 to over 7.1m in 2024, before adding another 4.7m in the first half of 2025 alone.

The app allows customers to manage policies, access documents, make changes, and start claims 24/7, and supports telematics products like YouDrive and SmartMiles using Cambridge Mobile Telematics technology.
Known for its Defaqto 5-Star motor policies, Hastings reported 3.9m live policies at the end of 2024 and about 4.1m in Q1 2025, with roughly 350,000 unique monthly app users since late 2021 — a testament to its strong digital engagement.
