Now in its eighth year, the ranking comes during a period of exceptional expansion in InsurTech, fuelled by rapid advances in AI and rising customer expectations. Projections estimate the market will grow to $152.43bn by 2030, with a CAGR of 52.7%.
With this surge, earning a position on the 2025 InsurTech100 is more competitive than ever. A panel of experienced analysts and industry specialists reviewed more than 2,100 InsurTech businesses compiled by FinTech Global to decide which companies would make the cut.
The firms chosen stood out for their innovative use of technology to tackle industry-wide challenges and deliver efficiency improvements throughout the insurance value chain.

Here is just a glimpse at some of the groundbreaking InsurTechs included this year:
additiv, a firm that applies AI-driven, intelligent automation to help insurers innovate, drive efficiency, transform business models and distribution, and reduce costs without replacing systems. Late last year, AXA Switzerland announced a partnership with additiv to launch a new bancassurance solution which will enable banks to directly protect their mortgage customers against key risks with a simple plug-and-play solution.
Agentero, a digital insurance network that connects independent insurance agents with top-rated carriers and provides technology to help them grow their agencies, was also part of the list. Earlier this year, Agentero launched a new compliance management solution to simplify producer management for carriers, Managing General Agents (MGAs), and agencies.
bolttech was also part of the list, a firm that is the most globally-scaled tech-enabled insurance and protection ecosystem. Bolttech has recently partnered with Globe to launch Flagship Forever, a device upgrade programme and the first for a telco in the Philippines.
Expert.ai is a firm that delivers proven enterprise AI solutions that drive measurable business value. The company recently introduced its latest innovation, the EidenAI Suite to enhance claims management, improve policy personalisation, and strengthen fraud prevention.
Five Sigma is a firm that offers AI and automation technology for claims handling, including Clive™, the industry’s first Multi-Agent AI Claims Expert. Earlier this year, Vitesse and Five Sigma announced a strategic partnership aimed at modernising claims payouts.
iCover is a digital service that enables insurers to sell, underwrite, and issue life insurance in 5 minutes, at a fraction of the typical cost. In 2024, iCover introduced a new online marketplace for life, health, and wellness products.
Majesco is a firm that leads AI-native, cloud insurance platforms for P&C and L&AH, delivering intelligent SaaS solutions that transform speed, insight, and outcomes. Last year, Majesco announced the launch of its highly anticipated Fall ’24 Release, which features a host of innovations designed to redefine the insurance industry.
Propcot is a company that streamlines specialty insurance with automation, real-time insights, and flexible policy management, reducing costs and empowering growth-focused insurers.
