The renewed collaboration between Zego and Clearspeed aims to advance Zego’s award-winning claims management, using Clearspeed’s technology to fast-track low-risk claims, flag high-risk cases, and enhance fraud prevention across the motor insurance landscape, according to FF News.

Under the renewed agreement, Clearspeed’s solution is fully embedded into Zego’s motor claims process.

When a claim is reported, customers answer a brief series of automated yes/no questions. Clearspeed’s technology then assesses vocal cues to determine risk levels, enabling Zego to push low-risk cases through quickly while flagging potentially fraudulent ones for further review.

This system has significantly reduced manual administration, streamlined claim handling, and improved overall operational efficiency. The technology also supports proactive fraud detection, uncovering suspicious activity and mitigating organised fraud ring operations.

The collaboration has yielded tangible results, including a tenfold increase in claim abandonments linked to suspicious activity, average fraud savings of £550 per claim, and more efficient allocation of adjusters’ time.

Across the industry, Clearspeed’s voice analytics technology consistently delivers measurable value, including a 30X return on investment, a 40% rise in immediate settlements, a 50% reduction in claims handling time, a 36% increase in preventative fraud savings, and high customer satisfaction scores.
