INSHUR, a leader in insurance solutions for the on-demand economy, specialising in flexible and technology-driven coverage, has launched a new on-rental insurance product called Period Z.
The product, which was launched under its subsidiary, ABI Powered by INSHUR, joins the firm’s existing off-rental solution, Period XTM, creating a complete coverage suite tailored for carshare fleet owners across the United States.
The introduction responds to the rapidly evolving US carshare market, which is projected to grow from USD 3.1bn in 2024 to USD 4.8bn by 2034.
Key drivers for this growth include increasing urbanisation, heightened demand for flexible transportation options, the preference for sustainable mobility solutions, and developments in technology, government policies, and regulation.
Period Z is an on-rental insurance product that complements Period XTM’s off-rental coverage, providing carshare fleets with a unified, nationwide insurance solution.
By consolidating coverage needs into a single suite, fleets can operate across multiple rental platforms and direct rental channels without administrative friction, unlocking new business opportunities and revenue streams.
This comprehensive coverage allows fleet owners to streamline operations, reduce complexity, and maintain regulatory compliance. The product is specifically designed to provide freedom and flexibility, enabling operators to expand their businesses without being tied to a single platform or juggling multiple insurance providers.
The launch is strengthened by a strategic partnership with Incline P&C Group, a leading insurance program carrier with extensive expertise in innovative insurance solutions. Incline provides the financial backing and stability to support INSHUR’s carshare product suite, ensuring reliable and long-term coverage for fleet owners.
