Cover-More Europe, a global travel insurance provider, and Irish InsurTech Blink Parametric, have partnered to deliver a new parametric flight delay benefit for AnnualTravelInsurance.com customers in Ireland.
The partnership has been formed to simplify the way travellers deal with flight disruptions by introducing automated, real-time support that removes complexity and accelerates resolution when delays occur.
As part of the collaboration, Cover-More Europe has launched its first parametric product: a flight delay benefit that activates automatically when a registered flight is delayed by at least three hours. Travellers receive an instant VIP lounge pass or a €30 cash payout, removing the need for paperwork, manual claims or wait times.
The new benefit is available to customers holding Super or Super Plus policies on AnnualTravelInsurance.com, whether on single-trip or annual multi-trip plans.
Policyholders only need to register their flight before departure. Blink Parametric then monitors global flight data, sending automatic notifications and enabling customers to select their preferred resolution if a qualifying delay occurs.
This new feature reflects Cover-More Europe’s ongoing commitment to creating practical innovations that enhance travel experiences and improve satisfaction among Irish customers, particularly during unexpected disruptions.
