SageSure appoints John Sence as chief sales officer

SageSure has appointed John Sence as chief sales officer, as the firm looks to deepen its relationship with producers in catastrophe-exposed markets.

The appointment brings senior sales leadership onto the executive team as the company targets its next phase of growth.

Sence joins SageSure from the Cincinnati Insurance Companies, where he most recently served as vice president of personal lines national sales.

In that role, he held responsibility for growth across 45 states, with a focus on middle- and high-net-worth segments. At SageSure, he will oversee sales strategy, distribution expansion and producer engagement.

The appointment aligns with SageSure’s strategic emphasis on the producer experience, spanning new business onboarding, underwriting and claims.

The company has invested in system enhancements, expanded its earthquake and wildfire capabilities and increased its presence in mass-affluent markets as part of that strategy.
