Allianz Commercial has opened a new Latin America Hub in Miami, establishing a regional base to serve clients and brokers across Latin America.
The hub is located at 1111 Brickell Ave., 10th Floor, Miami, FL, and provides access to facultative reinsurance and commercial insurance solutions across Property, Construction & Natural Resources, Entertainment, Financial Lines including Cyber, Marine and Multinational Services. From Miami, Allianz Commercial will link regional client and broker requirements with its global underwriting, technical and capacity platforms.
The new base supports Allianz Commercial’s operations in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia and Mexico, while extending reinsurance activity into additional markets including Chile, Peru, Ecuador and Panama. It is intended to act as a central point for coordinating regional business with the group’s global resources.
The hub launches with a fully established leadership team. Guilherme Bizzo relocated from Brazil in December to lead the Regional Managing Director office, as well as Multinational and Alternative Risk Transfer operations. He is responsible for the hub’s strategy and execution and for coordinating integration with Allianz Commercial’s global network.
Angelica Torres leads the facultative desk, overseeing reinsurance operations, broker relationships and capacity development across all lines of business. Eduardo Fontes, head of distribution, leads regional distribution strategy and business development. Felipe Orsi, who also relocated from Brazil, is head of property, leading property facultative reinsurance and insurance strategy across Latin America. Ivan Coronado, head of Natural Resources & Construction, oversees risks across Power Generation, Oil & Gas, Renewables, Heavy Industries and Construction.
Monica Oyaga will relocate from Colombia in early 2026 as head of long tail, leading underwriting strategy and portfolio management across Financial Lines, Cyber, Entertainment and other long-tail risks. Daniel Castrillon, chief technical officer, relocated from Colombia in December and leads technical operations across the region.
The Miami-based leadership team works alongside Gabriela Rosa in Brazil and Diego Reppetti in Argentina, completing the regional leadership structure.

The official opening ceremony will take place in February 2026 during Miami (Re)insurance Week.
