Cytora, the digital risk processing platform, and Altitude Intelligence, a provider of specialised intelligence-as-a-service capabilities, have announced a strategic partnership aimed at transforming commercial insurance underwriting.

The partnership is designed to integrate Altitude Intelligence’s advanced geospatial (GEOINT) and multi-source fusion data directly into the Cytora platform.

This allows commercial insurers to automatically enrich submissions with detailed climate and location-based insights at the point of underwriting, streamlining the risk assessment process.

Cytora leverages Generative AI to automate risk processing for insurers, helping underwriters quickly and accurately assess complex physical risks.

Its platform transforms fragmented submission data into decision-ready insights, enabling more precise pricing and capacity decisions. Altitude Intelligence provides high-fidelity geospatial analysis fused with Open Source Intelligence (OSINT), delivering actionable intelligence on physical and climate-related risks.

Through this collaboration, underwriters can visualise and quantify climate and physical risks linked to specific assets. By combining Cytora’s AI-driven risk processing with Altitude Intelligence’s intelligence-as-a-service model, insurers can reduce manual research, accelerate the “Enrichment” phase of workflows, and strengthen portfolio resilience against evolving climate threats.

The partnership marks the latest development in Cytora’s efforts to build the insurance industry’s most comprehensive data ecosystem. It follows a period of rapid growth, including major collaborations with global carriers and the expansion of its platform to support automated, data-driven risk selection.

Juan de Castro, COO at Cytora, said, “Precise geospatial context is the bedrock of modern property underwriting. Our partnership with Altitude Intelligence brings a sophisticated layer of multi-source fusion and geospatial data directly into the risk processing workflow. This enables our clients to move beyond basic hazard maps and access actionable intelligence that drives smarter, faster, and more resilient underwriting decisions.”

Santiago Fisher, Head of Analytics at Altitude Intelligence, said, “Intelligence makes the difference when every decision counts. By integrating our specialised geospatial and multi-source capabilities into the Cytora platform, we are ensuring that commercial insurers have seamless access to the actionable insights they need to navigate an increasingly complex risk landscape. We are excited to see our proven intelligence systems helping to drive the next generation of insurance workflows.”
