WTW, a global advisory, broking and solutions company, has appointed George Lewkowicz as global proposition leader for P&C capital modelling within its insurance consulting and technology division.

Based in London, Lewkowicz will now oversee WTW’s global P&C capital modelling and reinsurance pricing propositions, according to FF News. His remit includes driving innovation, supporting business development and delivering tailored solutions to help insurers better understand and manage their risk and capital requirements.

WTW global proposition leader, P&C insurance technology Charlie Kefford said: “This appointment reflects our commitment to investing in exceptional talent and strengthening our capital modelling and reinsurance pricing capabilities. George brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of delivering results, which will be instrumental in enabling our clients to succeed.”

With nearly 20 years of experience in capital modelling, reinsurance pricing and reserving, Lewkowicz joined WTW in 2022. Since then, he had led the development of the firm’s risk analytics platform, Igloo.

Igloo is currently used by more than 1,000 users across over 150 companies, ranging from single-line insurers to multinational carriers. Its client base includes six of the top 10 US non-life insurers, five of the top 10 European insurers and six of the top 10 Asia-Pacific non-life insurers.

Over nearly 20 years of development, Igloo has evolved alongside market demands, supported by WTW’s consulting and implementation services. The platform is positioned as a common framework for capital, reinsurance and risk modelling across global insurance markets.
