Specialty insurance MGA Volt has partnered with InsurTech Novee to deploy its AI intelligence layer across the firm’s Power & Renewables underwriting portfolio.
Integration of the platform aims to improve underwriting efficiency by delivering actionable risk insights while automating data-heavy tasks such as schedule cleansing used in CAT modelling and pricing.
Power and renewables submissions often involve fragmented technical documentation including engineering surveys, loss reports and large schedules of values that historically required extensive manual preparation before analysis.
Through the partnership, Novee’s platform enables Volt to semi-automatically cleanse schedules, structure exposure data and extract insights from supporting documents across the submission package.
Automation allows underwriters to transform complex datasets into transparent, modelling-ready information that can be used immediately for pricing and risk analysis.
