Chubb, a global insurance group, has appointed Ben McGregor and Alex Forman to senior leadership roles within its Chubb Overseas General (COG) division.
McGregor has been named Senior Vice President and Head of Commercial Insurance Property, while Forman becomes Senior Vice President and Head of Commercial Insurance Casualty. Both appointments take effect immediately and the executives will report to John DePeters, Executive Vice President and Head of Commercial Insurance & Specialty, COG.
The pair will oversee the performance and growth of the division’s middle market commercial insurance operations, while helping strengthen segment-specific underwriting strategies across property and casualty portfolios. They will also work with industry practice leaders to expand product offerings using advanced analytics and technology.

McGregor brings more than 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, including 23 years with Chubb. During his career he has led property portfolios across Australia, New Zealand and Asia, most recently serving as Head of Property and Terrorism for the United Kingdom and Ireland. He is also a fellow of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF).
Forman has more than 20 years of industry experience and joined Chubb in 2020 after holding leadership roles at AIG and Swiss Re Corporate Solutions. In his most recent position at Chubb, he managed the profitability and growth of the casualty portfolio across the UK, Ireland and South Africa.
