Zurich Insurance US has extended its long-standing partnership with insurance software provider Insurity, continuing a collaboration that has spanned more than 30 years.

The agreement builds on Zurich’s use of Insurity’s Policy Decisions platform, which supports end-to-end policy administration across its core business lines including auto, general liability, workers’ compensation and property insurance.

The platform is now fully integrated with Insurity’s Circ Bureau Managed Services and hosted within the Insurity Cloud. Zurich said the setup will strengthen regulatory compliance, improve operational efficiency and help the insurer respond more quickly to regulatory changes.

Zurich migrated to the Insurity Cloud in 2023, which the company said delivered improvements in performance, scalability and system modernization for its core insurance platforms.

Sylvester Mathis III, Chief Revenue Officer and Chief Insurance Officer at Insurity, said, “We’re proud to celebrate over thirty years of collaboration with Zurich in the United States. Zurich’s long-term confidence in Policy Decisions and our Circ Bureau Managed Services speaks to the strength of our relationship. This next chapter builds on decades of shared success, combining innovation, data-driven policy management, and cloud-powered performance to help Zurich stay ahead in a competitive market.”

Madhu Ramamurthy, Chief Information Officer at Zurich North America, added, “Our relationship with Insurity goes back more than 30 years, starting with a DOS-based system and evolving alongside new technologies to today’s cloud-based platform. Insurity’s Policy Decisions and Bureau Managed Services support our core business lines, helping us stay accurate, compliant and efficient in a highly regulated market.”

Zurich said the expanded collaboration provides a scalable cloud-based environment supporting policy lifecycle automation, continuous bureau compliance and more agile product development.

Both companies indicated the partnership could also support future innovation as Zurich continues to modernise underwriting and policy management systems.
