WTW has announced a restructuring of its Insurance Consulting and Technology operations in EMEA, creating dedicated property and casualty (P&C) and life businesses to strengthen expertise and accelerate innovation.

The advisory and broking group said the changes respond to growing client demand for technology-enabled insurance solutions and increasing disruption across the sector.

Under the new structure, Tim Rourke has been appointed EMEA P&C Leader, while Michael Klüttgens will lead the EMEA Life business. Both roles sit within WTW’s Insurance Consulting and Technology division.

Frank Schepers, Global Leader of Insurance Consulting and Technology at WTW, said, “Strengthening our P&C and Life leadership reflects the scale of demand for integrated, technology-enabled insurance solutions across EMEA. Tim and Michael bring exceptional client insight, deep industry expertise and proven leadership. Together, they will help drive our next phase of growth as we sharpen our focus on the unique needs of our clients and accelerate AI adoption across the insurance value chain.”

Rourke brings more than 25 years of experience in the insurance sector and most recently served as UK Head of P&C Pricing, Product, Claims and Underwriting within the division. In his new role, he will focus on expanding growth, strengthening collaboration across the region and connecting WTW’s innovation and AI capabilities with the needs of P&C clients.

Klüttgens previously served as Divisional Leader for Northern and Central Europe and has advised global insurers on mergers and acquisitions and financial reporting. As EMEA Life Leader, he will focus on strengthening the division’s life consulting offering through advanced analytics, AI capabilities and end-to-end technology solutions.

As part of the broader organisational shift, Tammy Richardson, formerly European Regional Leader for Insurance Consulting and Technology, will take on a global role leading the company’s AI transformation strategy. She will oversee the development and delivery of AI-driven technologies and propositions across the business.
