Akur8, a global actuarial AI platform serving more than 350 insurers across 40+ countries, has joined the Verisk Strategic Alliance (VSA) partner network and obtained a licence to support customer-imported ISO Electronic Rating Content (ISO ERC) within its rating engine, Deploy.
The collaboration with Verisk, a data analytics and technology partner to the global insurance industry, enables Akur8’s Deploy users to incorporate licensed ISO ERC content into their rating workflows.
ISO ERC gives insurers electronic access to rating content including advisory loss costs, rules, and forms information, supporting greater consistency in managing rating-related material.
The partnership is intended to accelerate go-to-market timelines for insurers bringing products and rate changes into production. It aims to reduce dependence on manual, error-prone implementation processes and to establish a more robust foundation for maintainable rating structures. More broadly, Akur8 said the alliance is part of its continued investment in infrastructure to support modern rating operations, helping insurers reduce complexity across systems and teams.
Akur8’s platform is built on actuarial technology and serves insurers across Property and Casualty (P&C) and Life and Annuity (L&A) markets. Its customer base includes global carriers such as AXA, Generali, Munich Re, Europ Assistance, Tokio Marine and MS&AD, as well as commercial and personal lines insurers including TMNAS, FCCI, NEXT, Cypress, Madison Mutual and Canopius, among others.
Verisk vice president, ratings solutions, Troy Smith said, “Modernizing rating is not just a technology upgrade; it is an operating model shift. At Verisk, we offer a comprehensive suite of rating solutions to support insurers at every stage of the rating lifecycle, including ISO ERC for implementation validation and quality assurance.
“Backed by Verisk’s trusted insurance data, industry expertise, and decades of experience supporting insurers, we are committed to helping solution providers and insurers more effectively implement ISO content within modern rating environments, enabling organizations to improve governance, reduce implementation risk, accelerate time to market and adapt more efficiently to change.”
Akur8 CEO Samuel Falmagne said, “This collaboration with Verisk reflects our commitment to providing insurers with the infrastructure they need for modern ISO-based rating operations. By joining the Verisk Strategic Alliance partner network, Akur8 strengthens its ability to support insurers that rely on licensed ISO ERC content as part of their broader rating operations.”
