Zinnia, a technology platform serving the life and annuities sector, has named Key Kiarie as its new chief financial officer, a move that comes as the firm ramps up expansion across its base of carrier and distributor clients.
In his new role, Kiarie will take charge of Zinnia’s finance and corporate development functions, with responsibility for financial, planning and operations strategy. He will also work alongside senior leaders throughout the business to help drive execution as the company scales.
Kiarie arrives at Zinnia with a background covering investment, media and operational leadership. His career started at JPMorgan, after which he took on investing positions at AEA Investors, Saban Capital Group and Media Development Investment Fund (MDIF). Prior to joining Zinnia, he held CFO posts at both Bloomberg Media and REVOLT Media & TV, steering each business through substantial periods of expansion and transformation.
Zinnia, an Eldridge business, provides technology solutions designed to simplify the life and annuity industry, helping carriers operate more quickly, distributors broaden access, advisors build confidence and consumers gain trust. The company is also backed by funds managed by KKR and Vista Credit Partners.
