INSTANDA and Diesta partner on insurance finance operations

INSTANDA, a global AI-augmented no-code policy administration system, has formed a strategic partnership with Diesta, a payments infrastructure firm designed specifically for the insurance sector.

The tie-up unites INSTANDA’s configurable policy administration technology with Diesta’s insurance-focused payments layer. As a result, insurers, MGAs and brokers building products on INSTANDA will be able to progress from launching a product through to collecting premiums, reconciling accounts and reporting with improved pace, oversight and clarity.

Diesta’s technology has been developed to handle the intricacies of moving money within insurance, linking banks, policy platforms and external data feeds into a single operating layer covering receivables, accounting and payables. This allows insurance firms to make finance teams more productive, cut down on unallocated cash, compress payment timelines and strengthen oversight of premium reconciliation and settlement.

The collaboration is already operational with several clients across different regions, and millions in policy value is passing through the API-connected workflow. The two firms intend to keep collaborating on joint sales, implementation and client success efforts, supporting insurance businesses in updating both how products are administered and how premiums are handled.

Founded in 2015, INSTANDA provides insurers globally with an AI-augmented no-code platform for policy administration and distribution, enabling them to build, manage and refine products and customer journeys quickly.

INSTANDA co-founder and group chief revenue officer Derek Hill said, “Insurance organisations are under increasing pressure to launch products faster, operate more efficiently and maintain control as they scale. Policy administration is a critical part of that journey, but it does not sit in isolation. The movement, reconciliation and reporting of premium is equally important to how insurance businesses perform.

“Our partnership with Diesta adds a highly specialised finance operations layer to the INSTANDA ecosystem, helping clients connect the front and back office more effectively. Together, we are giving insurers, MGAs and brokers a practical way to simplify operational complexity while maintaining the flexibility and speed they need to grow.”

Diesta co-founder and CEO Julian Schoemig said, “Having Diesta’s advanced payments and finance operations capabilities embedded into INSTANDA’s offering is a major step towards our mission of enabling real-time payments across the insurance industry. Together, we are helping insurers, brokers and MGAs reduce operational risk, shorten payment cycles and build the future of insurance operations.”
