LTY SA, a Swiss InsurTech firm, has attracted investment from Akiden Ventures SA to broaden its insurance broking operations and technology offering across Switzerland’s French- and German-speaking regions.
Based in Sion, LTY will use the investment to grow its independent insurance broking business and proprietary digital platform. The value of the investment and the size of Akiden’s stake were not disclosed.
LTY founder Betim Ramosaj will remain the company’s reference shareholder and continue to lead the business, while Akiden takes a minority stake. The company said the expansion would not affect its independence or existing client relationships.
Founded in 2013, LTY combines traditional insurance broking with proprietary technology that operates independently of individual insurers’ systems. Its digital platform provides clients with dedicated online spaces without tying them to a single insurance provider.
The company employs 15 people and serves more than 10,000 individual clients and over 700 businesses. Its expansion has been supported by acquisitions of four brokers’ client portfolios: RL Libery, Assurtag, PartenaGroup and SPS.
In 2025, LTY introduced a version of its platform for corporate customers. It is also developing an in-house artificial intelligence module in partnership with research institute Idiap, with support from Fondation The Ark. The technology aims to help clients identify and manage risks proactively.
Founded in 2016 by Steve Savioz, Akiden Ventures provides investment and operational support to the management teams of its portfolio companies.
Akiden Ventures founder Steve Savioz said, “LTY has built a profitable model and a platform that works. Our role is to accelerate it, to support it over time, with the means and time needed, so that it establishes itself across Switzerland.”
LTY founder Betim Ramosaj added, “We proved the model. With Akiden, we are deploying it at the scale of Switzerland, without changing what makes the difference: advisers that our clients know.”
