Greater Than, a global provider of risk intelligence into road safety and climate impact, has unveiled its latest innovation, the AI Coach, aimed at transforming crash prevention and risk management.
The company launched the AI Coach in response to the growing demand for contextualised, data-driven tools that not only predict road accidents but also provide proactive solutions to prevent them.
With rising crash costs and increasing pressure on insurers and fleet operators to improve safety, Greater Than’s new AI tool offers timely and personalised insights to mitigate these risks.
Greater Than, headquartered in Sweden, specialises in using artificial intelligence to deliver crash probability analytics, risk management tools, and sustainability metrics to fleet managers, insurers, and mobility providers worldwide.
The AI Coach leverages Greater Than’s proprietary AI pattern profiling to analyse entire trips using GPS data and two decades’ worth of real-life driving and claims data.
Unlike rule-based telematics, it identifies subtle driver behaviours that often go unnoticed but significantly impact crash probability. It then generates tailored feedback that helps managers coach drivers to reduce risk or reinforce safe driving practices.
The AI Coach is embedded in Greater Than’s new Crash Probability Hub and can be integrated into existing driver safety platforms, including smartphone apps. This allows safety managers and insurers to provide coaching either indirectly or directly to the driver, reducing administrative burdens and increasing impact.
Key features include delivering motivational, contextualised feedback on a trip, weekly or monthly basis; highlighting specific driving behaviours contributing to risk; and providing actionable insights to improve driver outcomes.
This product is expected to enhance road safety initiatives by enabling earlier interventions, lowering claims frequency, and increasing operational efficiency.
