iBox partners with bolttech to debut TecProtec in Indonesia

The partnership aims to enhance the customer experience by providing a seamless, reliable and transparent device protection service that begins from the moment of purchase according to InsurTech Insights.

The new offering supports Apple device users with comprehensive after-sales services backed by AppleCare, ensuring access to trusted support and certified repairs.

bolttech brings its InsurTech expertise to the collaboration, delivering a digitally-enabled protection platform that offers coverage benefits like device replacement and unlimited repairs for accidental damage.

Customers are entitled to up to two replacements within 24 months at 25% of the retail price per claim, and repair services are clearly priced to avoid surprises—IDR500,000 for either front or back glass damage, IDR1,000,000 for both, and IDR1,500,000 for other damage types. A free battery replacement is also included if battery health drops below 80%.

iBox, as part of Erajaya Digital, is one of the most recognised Apple product retailers in Indonesia. The company plays a central role in customer engagement by offering TecProtec at the point of purchase in-store, enabling immediate activation and providing a fully integrated device ownership experience.

Additional features of TecProtec with AppleCare Services include door-to-door pickup and return logistics and access to 24 authorised Apple Service Providers across Indonesia. The service aims to set a new benchmark for mobile device protection in the country.

This initiative aligns with bolttech’s broader strategy to expand its global device protection footprint, focusing on customer-centric, integrated services tailored for digitally engaged users. For Erajaya Digital and iBox, the launch signals a continued push to elevate customer service and instil trust through premium after-sales support.
