Founded by former DAS and Allianz executives Mickey Attia and Robin Stagg, with backing from Greenlight Re, the company seeks to bring long-term value to insurance customers and partners alike, according to InsurTech Insights.

The launch is driven by the founders’ recognition of shortcomings in traditional embedded insurance, where products are often bolted on at the point of purchase and fail to provide meaningful, long-term benefits to customers.

Elevate Specialty structures its operations around four core principles: products that are “native by design” with claims and insurance services integrated directly into customer environments; a data-focused approach leveraging proprietary data and predictive analytics to close reporting gaps and drive profitable growth; rapid product deployment using microservices, open APIs, and AI-powered claims automation; and fortnightly product improvement cycles to maintain relevance and compliance with the Financial Conduct Authority’s Consumer Duty.

The company offers a range of insurance solutions, including legal expenses insurance, income protection for renters, cyber cover, home emergency, and personal accident insurance. Elevate Specialty aims to move beyond traditional financial protection to ensure that insurance genuinely supports customers in their daily lives.

The company’s new products integrate seamlessly into customer environments. Designed to feel like a natural part of daily experiences, these offerings harness AI and microservices to roll out updates in under 60 days, while predictive analytics guide improvements and enhance profitability.

Elevate Specialty also emphasises a customer-first design approach. By embedding insurance services and claims processes directly into everyday platforms, the MGA believes it can boost engagement, improve outcomes, and deliver measurable value for both consumers and partners.

Industry experts note that Elevate Specialty’s combination of AI-driven automation, embedded distribution, and customer-centric design could represent a fundamental shift in how consumers interact with protection products.
