MIS and Eagleview partner to transform catastrophe response

McKenzie Intelligence Services (MIS), a leader in geospatial intelligence, and Eagleview, a trailblazer in geospatial technology, have announced a strategic collaboration aimed at enhancing the insurance industry’s ability to respond to North American catastrophes.

McKenzie Intelligence Services (MIS), a leader in geospatial intelligence, and Eagleview, a trailblazer in geospatial technology, have announced a strategic collaboration aimed at enhancing the insurance industry’s ability to respond to North American catastrophes.

The partnership was formed to combine the speed and accuracy of MIS’s military-grade intelligence analysis with Eagleview’s high-resolution pre- and post-CAT event aerial imagery, according to FF News.

This collaboration is designed to provide clients of both organisations with improved insights and faster post-event decision-making.

MIS will integrate Eagleview’s extensive library of pre- and post-event aerial imagery into its GEO platform, giving clients access to a broader US event coverage of perils such as hurricanes, tornadoes, flooding, and wildfires. This enables MIS’s team to deliver post-event assessments more rapidly and with deeper intelligence.

Eagleview clients, in turn, will gain access to the GEO platform and its historical archive of over 200 global events. They will be able to securely host portfolio data and enrich imagery with verified exposure, claims, and building-level analysis provided by MIS. These decision-ready outputs will help insurers make claims decisions within days following catastrophic events.

McKenzie Intelligence Services (MIS) specialises in geospatial intelligence, providing military-grade analysis to support rapid decision-making during catastrophic events. Eagleview offers high-resolution aerial imagery and analytics, capturing large-scale geographical data before and after disasters to assist industries such as insurance and real estate.

This partnership also marks a significant milestone for the GEO platform, as Eagleview imagery is now fully accessible to all GEO users, and Eagleview clients can access the platform at any time. The collaboration underscores a shared goal of delivering critical insights to insurers in the immediate aftermath of North American catastrophes, where timely intelligence can mitigate financial and operational risks.

In the past year alone, MIS has produced comprehensive intelligence reports on 25 CAT events in North America and monitored 42 additional events, including Hurricane Helene, Hurricane Milton, the May 2025 tornado outbreak, and the Los Angeles wildfires. Meanwhile, Eagleview conducted 60 aerial flights covering 34,000 km² across 26 unique CAT events, capturing imagery for a wide range of perils.

Forbes McKenzie, CEO and Founder of MIS, said, “We could not be more delighted to be collaborating with Eagleview. This transformative partnership further establishes GEO as the go-to disaster response platform for carriers and matches the best intelligence on the market with the best aerial imagery on the market.

“Ultimately, this provides the insurance community with a one-stop shop to understand how their business has been affected and inform their decision-making in the immediate aftermath of any catastrophic event in North America.”

David Bairstow, SVP and General Manager of Eagleview, said, “We’re truly thrilled to be working with MIS. Bringing these leading market offerings together will deliver major benefits for our users.

“This move signals a major evolution in how both organisations serve the insurance marketplace, with the shared goal of continuing to give carriers the information they need, when they need most it, as the impact North American catastrophes worsen year-on-year.”
