Trawick International, a global provider of international insurance, administration and assistance services, has partnered with Blink Parametric, an InsurTech specialising in real-time parametric solutions, to roll out Traveler Lounge Pass.
The collaboration aims to enhance the travel insurance experience by providing policyholders with automatic access to airport lounges worldwide when flight delays exceed two hours, according to InsurTech Insights.
Both firms see the initiative as a way to reduce the stress of disruptions and provide added value to insured travellers.
Trawick International offers a wide range of international insurance products, including travel, medical, expatriate and speciality cover, serving customers across multiple markets. Blink Parametric, meanwhile, delivers parametric insurance solutions that automatically trigger benefits in real time when specific events occur, such as flight delays, lost luggage or severe weather disruption.
Through the new benefit, eligible Trawick International customers can register their flight details online at least 24 hours before departure. If a qualifying delay occurs, the primary policyholder receives a lounge pass automatically via email or text, valid for six months from the date of issue. This seamless process requires no additional customer action.
Traveler Lounge Pass will be available within select Trawick International travel insurance plans. The initiative reflects both companies’ shared ambition to use data, automation and real-time technology to redefine benefit delivery and reduce friction in the insurance process.
The launch was supported by CSC Global Partners. Founder Carl Carter described the collaboration as a successful example of combining the strengths of two organisations to deliver customer-focused innovation in travel insurance.
