Saudi-based InsurTech startup Najeeb.ai has secured an undisclosed pre-seed funding round from local and regional angel investors, the company announced.
The funding will support the development of AI-powered products, strengthen integrations with insurance companies and healthcare providers, and prepare the company for local and regional commercial expansion.
Founded in 2023 by Ahmed Yasmina and Hammam Homsi, Najeeb.ai integrates artificial intelligence (AI) with insurance technology to improve efficiency and transparency in the sector, focusing on automotive and health insurance.
Najeeb.ai’s platform provides solutions including accelerating medical approvals, detecting fraud in medical and vehicle claims, analysing clinical data to assist insurance decision-making, and optimising operational processes for insurers and service providers.
Following the news, Ahmad Yasmineh, Founder and CEO of Najeeb.ai, stated on LinkedIn, “We are proud of our achievements so far and delighted with the investors confidence in our vision. This round reflects the need for smart tools that improve insurance technologies and facilitate operations for insurance companies and beneficiaries. Our goal is to drive the wheel of innovation by building local Saudi tech products to develop the local insurance sector and support the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.”
