One Inc, the leading digital payments network for the insurance industry, has announced that Mutual Benefit Group (MBG), a Pennsylvania-based insurance provider, has implemented its ClaimsPay® platform to modernise and enhance outbound disbursements.
The collaboration is designed to deliver a faster and more seamless claims experience for MBG’s policyholders, according to FF News.
The partnership aims to strengthen MBG’s commitment to offering its policyholders convenient, efficient and secure digital payment options.
By integrating One Inc’s ClaimsPay platform, MBG can provide customers with rapid access to claim payments, helping them recover faster after an incident while aligning with the insurer’s goal of driving operational efficiency through innovative InsurTech solutions.
Headquartered in Folsom, California, One Inc specialises in digital payment solutions designed specifically for the insurance sector. Its technology facilitates inbound and outbound payments, improving policyholder engagement and streamlining the financial operations of insurers.
Mutual Benefit Group, headquartered in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, has been providing insurance coverage for automobiles, homes and businesses to more than 58,000 policyholders across Pennsylvania and Maryland. The insurer operates through a network of over 300 independent agent locations and is recognised for its focus on customer satisfaction and local community service.
MBG policyholders will now be able receive claims payments through various digital payment methods, including Venmo and PayPal, alongside more traditional options like direct deposit.
Additionally, MBG gains access to One Inc’s Vendor-Provider Network, which includes more than 1.1m vendors and service providers representing over 290 insurance carriers across the US.
This vast network supports improved vendor management and enhances operational flexibility for MBG.
“A claim is the moment of truth for any insurance policy,” Mutual Benefit Group vice president – claims Shannon Davis said. “Securing quick, efficient payment options allows our policyholders to begin the restoration process quickly by receiving payment in the manner they choose.”
According to Davis, “Mutual Benefit is excited about our partnership with One Inc because it enhances our ability to deliver the MBG Experience. One Inc was the clear frontrunner for us due to its history of working with insurance carriers and its wide array of payment offerings.”
“As consumer expectations continue to evolve rapidly, it is essential that carriers have access to the right technologies to meet those needs and remain competitive,” One Inc CEO Ian Drysdale said. “We are honoured to partner with Mutual Benefit Group to help them provide modern payment experiences and deliver on the promise of insurance.”
