Scout Security Limited, a security-as-a-service platform provider, has partnered with Bolt Solutions Inc., a global InsurTech company, to provide water damage prevention solutions to insurance policyholders.

The partnership aims to help policyholders in multiple US states, including California and Florida, mitigate the risk of water damage and potentially qualify for significant premium reductions.

Scout will supply white-labelled water sensor kits through Bolt’s Prevention Technology program under a Master Services Agreement and Statement of Work.

The firm, known for its flexible white-label security platforms and recently expanded offerings following the acquisition of Roo Inc., will deliver the water sensor kits to Bolt affiliates.

Bolt Solutions, a global InsurTech company, uses its Prevention Technology programme to provide policyholders with proactive risk mitigation tools, aiming to reduce claims frequency and severity for insurers.

Under the agreement, Bolt has committed to an initial hardware order, with Scout set to receive a US$48,000 (~A$72,000) deposit in January 2026, including prepayment for non-recurring engineering costs.

Scout anticipates that sales will begin in early Q1 2026, encompassing both hardware sales and recurring subscription revenue through monthly monitoring and service fees.

Bolt’s Prevention Technology programme provides insurers with tools to detect leaks early, helping prevent catastrophic damage and lowering overall insurance claims, benefiting both policyholders and carriers. The collaboration also creates potential for expansion across Bolt’s broader affiliate network, establishing a scalable channel for growth.
