Vertafore®, an InsurTech provider, has updated Surefyre™, its low-code agent portal and underwriting workbench for MGAs and wholesalers, in a move that will save hours in the program setup process by automating the conversion of PDF submission forms into web applications.
The updated platform introduces AI-backed functionality that enables program administrators to automatically transform PDF submission forms into digital web-based applications, according to FF News.
This enhancement removes a previously manual and time-intensive step in the creation of new insurance programs, allowing administrators to complete the task with a single click.

Surefyre uses AI to identify submission fields within a PDF and generate a complete digital form in minutes. Before the update, administrators could spend up to four hours manually creating web applications for new programs.
By eliminating this manual process, the solution helps MGAs and wholesalers bring new programs to market more quickly, while reducing the potential for errors associated with manual data entry. The time savings also allow teams to focus on higher-value activities.
The update reflects Vertafore’s practical approach to artificial intelligence, embedding automation directly into existing workflows to simplify complex processes and remove low-value manual work from day-to-day operations.
Additional AI-driven enhancements are planned for Surefyre later this year. These include a natural-language summary feature that highlights changes to applications for endorsements or renewals, as well as AI-powered ingestion of unstructured submission data, continuing Vertafore’s focus on reducing administrative effort.
