Click-Ins, a provider of AI-powered damage detection, and Insurtech Fuel, an InsurTech claims technology firm, have announced a new partnership aimed at transforming how motor insurance claims are handled.
The partnership has been formed to address long-standing inefficiencies in the claims process, particularly those caused by manual inspections, subjectivity and delays in settlement.
By combining Click-Ins’ mobile-based artificial intelligence with Insurtech Fuel’s claims workflow engine, the companies aim to deliver a fully autonomous, “one-click” claims experience that significantly reduces friction for insurers and policyholders alike.
Under the partnership, Click-Ins’ smartphone-based AI uses computer vision and 3D modelling to detect and isolate vehicle damage, filtering out environmental noise such as shadows and dirt.
The resulting damage data is passed directly into Insurtech Fuel’s WePayClaims platform, where rules-driven automation enables rapid validation and settlement within insurer-defined thresholds, removing the need for physical inspections or adjuster involvement.
At the core of the integration is a move away from manual, high-friction processes towards real-time, data-led decision-making. By automating damage assessment and settlement through predefined insurer rules, the solution accelerates claims handling while helping to reduce fraud and eliminate human subjectivity.
The partnership also establishes a high-confidence digital baseline for each insured vehicle, creating a clear record of pre-existing and new damage. This baseline supports faster claims resolution while lowering operational costs associated with physical inspections and adjuster involvement.
Insurtech Fuel CEO Anton de Souza said, “The integration with Click-Ins is a game-changer for handling high-volume claims. Their technology offers pixel-level accuracy that sets a new benchmark for mobile AI. Their ability to differentiate between a shadow and a scratch using only a smartphone is exactly what is needed to make rules-driven autonomous claims a reality, within insurer-defined rules, thresholds and policy terms.”
Click-Ins CEO Josh Parsons said, “Our mission is to remove the burden for the policyholder and deliver friction-free experiences. By partnering with Insurtech Fuel, we’re closing the loop. We don’t just make onboarding easy by capturing an accurate digital record of existing damage—we also support the claims journey with a damage signature that can be processed in seconds, not days, without the policyholder needing to engage an adjuster.”
