Tune Protect Malaysia, the general insurance subsidiary of Tune Protect Group Berhad, will use Akur8’s pricing solution to support more data-driven pricing decisions and deliver competitive, customer-focused insurance products in a rapidly evolving market.
Designed specifically for insurers, Akur8’s platform uses proprietary machine-learning technology to streamline actuarial pricing workflows. The system enables faster model development, transparent and explainable outputs, and clearer communication of pricing insights across underwriting, pricing and business teams.
By adopting Akur8 Pricing, Tune Protect aims to accelerate pricing cycles while improving collaboration and governance around pricing decisions through structured modelling and more transparent workflows.
The technology also helps teams move away from spreadsheet-heavy processes, enabling quicker model refinement and delivering decision-ready insights with clear and traceable modelling logic.
With a more streamlined pricing process and stronger communication of model assumptions, Tune Protect expects to respond more quickly to market changes while maintaining alignment across pricing, underwriting and broader business teams.
