The comparison service enables customers to search for insurance deals and receive quotes without leaving the ChatGPT interface, marking the latest move by the price comparison firm into AI-driven customer experiences.

Users can access the service by opening the Apps section within ChatGPT, searching for “GoCompare” and connecting the app to an existing chat. Once connected, customers can search for policies, compare options and re-run quotes after adjusting details.

The launch forms part of Go.Compare’s wider push to streamline the insurance shopping process through automation and AI tools. The company said the app is designed to help consumers access quotes more quickly while still allowing them to review and compare policy cover in detail.

Go.Compare built its brand around comparing policy features alongside price, rather than focusing solely on cost, and says the same approach will continue through its AI-enabled services.

The new app also reflects growing interest across the insurance sector in conversational AI as firms explore new ways to reach customers and simplify digital journeys.

Go.Compare CEO Lee Griffin said, “Integrating Go.Compare with ChatGPT is an exciting step into AI and provides a new way for customers to find our service.
