Burns & Wilcox Global Solutions, the London-based specialist wholesale broking arm of H.W. Kaufman Group, has gone live on Novidea’s insurance management platform, the InsurTech provider has announced.
The deployment covers three London Market trading entities handling third-party coverholder business, first-party binders and bulking lineslips, and open market placements.
More than 100 users are now working across multiple regions on the platform, which spans over 40 lines of business including casualty, marine, property and specialty.
The implementation includes the creation and management of London Market documentation such as LPANs, MRCs and invoices, electronic connectivity via Web Connectivity for A&S, CLASS and BSM messaging, and bi-directional data and document transmission between Novidea and Whitespace to accelerate placement.
The decision to adopt the platform was driven by Burns & Wilcox Global Solutions’ ambition to consolidate its broking operations under a single end-to-end system spanning multiple geographies.
Key priorities included introducing data-rich, real-time reporting to support business performance management, reducing process inefficiencies, and bringing a production-ready system to market within months.
Novidea is a cloud-native, data-driven insurance management platform with an open API architecture, designed for brokers, agents, MGAs and MGUs. Its system integrates front, middle and back-office operations and offers a 360-degree view of customers and policies, accessible across devices.
